Outlining Any Car Of Your Preference Progressively
Cars are great subjects for depicting in picture. You can find different versions with different shades. You may draw a car based on real cars, or you can create car cartoons. It will depend on your choice. Drawing cars is also challenging and enjoyable. The first measures on how to draw a car will necessitate you to have basic knowledge on geometric figures. However, in contrast to what some people tell, drawing cars is fairly easy. Simple perspectives can be drawn even by somebody who did not take any coaching in engineering drawing. So, if you want to know how to draw a car step by step, adhere to these procedures:
1. Get a reference material. Well, you can get a small car model or you can see an actual car. You can also look at artists' car depictions. Moreover, you can get snaps of cars. Take note of every aspect, especially the minor ones. Classic and vintage cars have pointed edges, and they have interesting components. You must pay attention to the mirrors and the headlights; as well as the dents and dings that resulted from years of running.
2. Study every position of the car. Cars have different shapes, depending on their version. Since vintage cars have sharper edges, you will need to draw extra boxes. Newer models, on the other hand, are more smooth. Take note of their parts' shapes, and analyze how they are attached to one another. Remember to lightly sketch the larger shapes first. Use a HB pencil or a 2B pencil. Then, capture the right perspective by erasing and adjusting these shapes. You may also attach important background parts.
3. Next, you must draw the shapes of the other parts. Sketch important elements such as doors, wheels, door handles, and windshields. You may need to draw additional lines, but you must retain the car's shape. Add more features like headlights, bumpers, and hubcaps. You may keep on erasing and modifying the original lines if required. Then, emphasize the final facts with a 4B pencil. This pencil is more significant and darker than a normal pencil. You can use this to emphasize the wheels, for instance. However, you may also use a 2B pencil to color some parts. Create various hues for better impacts. Darken the necessary lines and erase the unnecessary ones. Be careful when erasing because you may erase the lightly sketched details.
4. Compare your rough sketch to your reference material. See if they look exactly the same. Nonetheless, you may also modify the colors and sizes. You may change other details, as well. You may even add features that you think will look good on the model. It all depends on your creativeness and imagination. In addition, you can choose to have your car drawing in black and white. You merely have to create dark colors by shading your car drawing with a 4B pencil.
5. Finally, refine your drawing. Eliminate any unnecessary line or arc. Add finishing touches. Check out the details and see if you will include some more. You can add background factors to accentuate your drawing.XXX
